Courtney Scarlato RN, BSN, IBCLC

NICU Nurse, IBCLC (Lactation Consultant), and Newborn Care Consultant

Based out of Madison, Alabama

I am trained NICU nurse and have cared for thousands of babies across the country. Over the years, I worked as a NICU travel nurse, working in 10+ different NICUs across the USA, caring for some of the most fragile patients. During that time, I achieved my certification as an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

My passion has always been educating families on caring for their new baby and empowering mothers to achieve their breastfeeding goals. This passion grew even stronger through my own experiences as a mother of three. Each postpartum journey brought unique challenges with breastfeeding, reinforcing my belief that every parent—whether a first-timer or seasoned—has something new to learn and experience. I believe every family deserves support that feels both trustworthy and personal. I meet mothers where they are and support their goals—whether that’s breastfeeding, combination feeding, or bottle feeding—without pressure or judgment. My goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and at peace as you care for your baby, with guidance that is rooted in both science and real-life experience.

When I’m not working, I love spending time outdoors adventuring with my family through hiking and backpacking. At home, I enjoy homemaking, homeschooling my children, and exploring herbal and holistic care.
